BMW organised a livery contest in which the goal was to bring SIM racing and real world racing closer together. It was my first time participating in a livery contest, which I truly enjoyed.

Since the digital origin of the competition I went for a more gimmicky livery. Initially, I found it difficult to work around the strict restrictions regarding sponsor locations. However, with specific features like the "play" button on the drivers door, the "game over" sticker on the rear bumper I managed to create a striking livery hinting towards the digital SIM racing society.

With the lack of a rendering software I used my prior Adobe Illustrator skills to visualize the livery in 3D. I realized that in order to communicate my design in a way that fairly reflects the livery itself, rendering software is required.
