FINALIST RED BULL LAS VEGAS LIVERY CONTEST
2023
After graduating at the faculty of Industrial Design I saw an opportunity to develop my graphic design skills. As a passionate formula 1 fan for more than a decade, I was super excited to participate in the Make your Mark Miami Livery Contest.
I found it important that my design represents both Red Bull racing and Miami, using a metallic purple as a base colour hints towards the older liveries of Red Bull. Miami is represented in the classic Miami sunset and the dolphin (hinting to the Miami Dolphins football club). All in all the flow and speed that these shapes illustrate is key to make the design pop even more.
From the tens of thousands of submissions I was super excited once I saw my design featured on the social media page of Red Bull Racing! Amongst the top 5! A truly great achievement that is moreover exhibited at the BlackDove art gallery during the Miami Grand Prix.
